Meter Validation: Configure Settings

The Meter Validation Configure Settings page is available from the Meter Validation module on the Main Admin Page.

The Administrator may customize the Meter Validation data and navigation options, including the email template which may be automated and sent to contacts via the Account Settings page.

Select Options
If the Allow to enter service copies option is enabled, Customer User, and Restricted User contact types may view and submit service copy values.

If the Allow to enter notes option is enabled, Customer User, and Restricted User contact types may view and submit notes.

If the Allow to "View Previously Submitted Meters" option is enabled, contacts may select a previous date from the drop-down and view the previously submitted meters.

By disabling the Display bread crumb menu in Meter Validation Report page option, the Administrator may prevent users from navigating to other pages of the Central application.  This is useful in situations when users have been linked to the Meter Validation page from another web page such as the dealers website, where upon completion you'll then link them back to the referring page.

If the Include detailed device info in the Meter Validation Report page is enabled, users may view additional information which the administrator has configured on the Data Visibility page.  This information may include such values as Audit data, OEM values and calculated values.

If the Proceed to WebAudit first; if not meters are available for period option is enabled, the WebAudit button will be displayed if there are no meters for the current period, allowing the user to click and proceed to collect them using the WebAudit control.

Referring Page if available
; if the Meter Validation page was linked to directly from another web page, upon completion of the Meter Validation, the referring page will be displayed.  This allows dealers to link directly to the Meter Validation page, and upon completion they may be referred back to the originating page, i.e. dealers website.

Audit Results Page; regardless of the web page used to link to the Meter Validation page, upon completion the user will be redirected to the audit results page within Central.

Customer Account Page; regardless of the web page used to link to the Meter Validation page, upon completion the user will be redirected to their own account page within Central.

Custom Page; regardless of the web page used to link to the Meter Validation page, upon completion the user will be redirected to the web page specified.  This could be a page within Central or even another website, i.e. Thank you for validating and submitting your meters page, hosted on the dealers website.

Email Notification
The Administrator may customize the email template and behavior of the reminder notifications which may then be sent to the appropriate contact on the Account Settings page.
