WebAudit: Perform Audit |
Upon completion of the WebAudit setup process, the main WebAudit page is displayed.
Some newer web browsers first require you to Click to activate and use this control, and will display a similar message when you mouse over the WebAudit control. To activate it, simply click once anywhere on the WebAudit control.
Click Start; Clicking on the Start button initiates the audit using the IP settings that are configured on the Account Settings page. The amount of time the audit takes to complete varies depending on the total number of IP's within the configured ranges that WebAudit must query, and the timeout setting.
Click Save Data; The Save Data button is grayed out until WebAudit has completed the audit. Clicking on the Stop button while an active audit is taking place will terminate the audit and allow you to save any results that were returned to that point, however the results may be incomplete.
Complete and Proceed; After the audit has been successfully saved, the Complete and Proceed link will be available. Selecting this link completes the WebAudit process and displays the next configured page, which is the audit results by default.
If during the WebAudit session the internet is disconnected, a timeout occurs or other event that terminates the process, you may not be able to save your data back to FMAudit Central. In this case you may copy the results to your Windows clipboard by first selecting all rows using CTRL-A, and then copy the values using CTRL-C. The results may be pasted into an application such as Excel.
