Account: Create Multi-Tier |
FMAudit Central is scalable in it's architecture and flexible in how the accounts hierarchy may be established. Central can be used by a single dealer with a single branch location, or it can be configured to be shared by multiple dealers with multiple branch locations. Depending on how you configure the main dealer accounts, determines the access and visibility across dealerships and branches.
The following are some examples of typical scenarios, and how you would configure Central to accommodate each:
1 Dealer, 0 branch offices
You may use default Central settings.
Step 1: Using the Edit Account page, edit the
Customer 2 branch office accounts and assign Customer 2 head office as the
parent account.
Step 2: If using Onsite to automate audits, assign a new Sync Name using the
Onsite Data Synchronization page and
specify "Customer 2 head office" as the Parent Account. Any new accounts
being sent in from Onsite and which don't already exist in Central will use the
User/Pass combination to determine which parent account it should be created
under.
