Data Visibility: Edit Account Visibility

With the exception of the Administrator User Type who can view all accounts within FMAudit Central the other User Types have limitations.

The settings on this page are Global and apply to all of Central.

Dealer User; there are 3 options as follows:

Parent & Child Accounts: can view all accounts within the hierarchy of the account they are assigned to

Assigned Accounts: (default option) limited to view only those accounts which they are assigned as the owner

All Accounts: can view all accounts within any dealer hierarchy, regardless of the hierarchy of the account they are assigned to

Customer or Restricted User; there are 2 options as follows:

Own Account: can only view the account they are assigned to

Parent & Child Accounts: can view the account they are assigned to and any child account below this branch

Selecting View Hierarchy from the account page, displays all child accounts which may be selected to view.

Traverse Hierarchy Group; This grants additional privileges to the standard Dealer Users, when if assigned to the selected Dealer Admin Features group, allows them to traverse the dealer hierarchy.

To allow Sales Manager(s) to view all accounts from all dealer hierarchy's, but limit access to the rest of the dealer employees, set the Dealer User option to either Assigned Accounts or Parent & Child Accounts and assign the Sales Managers to the selected Dealer Admin Features group under the Traverse Hierarchy Group drop-down.
