Dealer Information: SMS Templates

The SMS Templates page is available from the Dealer Information module on the Main Admin Page.

FMAudit Central contains SMS templates that allow the Administrator to customize the notification short text messages to be sent to phone numbers configured in ASM. The SMS configuration must be performed prior to any SMS being sernt, in Action Handler Settings page.

The Sender field drop-down list contains the phone number and/or email that identifies the sender.

ASM SMS Text Briefing Message

SMS Text Briefing Message allows the administrator to configure the template for the SMS Text Briefing Message action type sent by the ASM engine.

Available Fields are all ASM placeholders available for SMS types. Selecting one item from the drop-down list, inserts it at the end of the email Message HTML text. Account information and several computed placeholders can be selected from the drop-down and are replaced during runtime with real data.

Note that some SMS providers might limit the size of the entire SMS to a value around 160 characters. If the runtime real SMS data exeeds the limits of the service provider, an email is send to the Dealer's primary contact of type Adimn, including bth the original SMS and the error description.
