Adaptive Service Management: Approve Alerts |
The Approve Alerts page displays the active alerts that require approval. The alerts may be filtered by a specific account and additional filtering options. The page can display only one alert to be approved or cleared, the alerts associated to an email in emails history, or custom filtered alerts.
The page may only be accessed by Administrators and Admin Dealers Users with appropriate Admin Features access from the main menu Alerts -> Approve Alerts, or from the Email History page
The page allows the user to approve or reject alerts as follows:
Single Alert view: Only one alert is displayed, along with additional information that might help the user decide to either approve or reject the alert;
Email Alerts view: In this case, the page displays information on all alerts that were part of an email in the emails history. Users can decide which alerts to approve making use of a grid with multiple selections;
Multiple Alerts view: This section allows the user to filter and display alerts based on several criteria selectable from the filters area. The grid that displays the alerts provides multiple selections to facilitate the interaction.
In Multiple Alerts view, the page contains filtering options as follows:
Account: select the account whose alerts are to be filtered; |
Hierarchy: flags to filter the Dealer Hierarchical / Non-Hierarchical alerts; |
With: allows users specify the consumable type, comparison operator and consumable values to filter alerts; |
Filter Devices: flags to filter All / Managed / Non-managed devices that have alerts that require approval. |
Notes:
Pressing the Filter button will retrieve and display the list of alerts that apply to the selected combination of filters;
Pressing the Approve Alert button will approve the selected alert;
Pressing the Clear Alert button will clear the alerts only if the none of the associated actions were not performed;
Pressing the Approve Selected button will approve the selected alerts;
Pressing the Clear Selected button will clear the selected alerts.
