Parts & Service: Import Supplier Values

The Import Supplier Values page is used to import supplier values to the Parts & Service module.   Currently there are two import modes supported: import of a generic Consumable Values Template file, and customized import for Nukote supplier.

The page may only be accessed by Administrators and Admin Dealers Users with appropriate Admin Features access from the main Parts & Service page -> Import Supplier Values.

Using this page, you may import the supply values into Central via a wizard style interface. The steps to the process are both informational and configuration oriented (where interaction might be required or may be optional).

The import wizard includes the following steps:

Selecting the Import Template - the two supported templates at the moment are Supplier Consumable Values Template and Nukote Supplies Part# Matching Template

Common Steps for both Import Templates:

- Selecting the supplier - the selection is performed from the drop-down list, that displays all supported suppliers.

             Note: for each custom supplier template format specific modules must be implemented in order to be supported by Central

- File selection – a file selection dialog allows you to browse to the applicable Excel spreadsheet that contains the supply values.

Supplier Consumable Values Steps:

- Matching options: the flag whether a matching of model families using SBS and Custom user values should be done can be set.

- Results/Warnings: a table is presented with all results and warnings of the import operation. All these can be exported to a csv file.

Nukote Additional Step:

- Import file summary – Once the file is selected and the import is complete, a grid displays the resulting information as it pertains to the import, such as: import date, number of         groups (or manufacturers), number of successfully imported entries and number of failed rows.

The wizard navigation can be performed via the Next button.

Errors that are encountered during the pre-check or during import will be displayed at the top of the page.
