Audit History: Audit Fields

Audits generated using FMAudit products include up to 29 different fields of data by default depending on the specific printer, copier or MFP and their supported options. If Dynamic tasks are included and enabled, additional data specific to those tasks may also be extracted from each device.

The engine included in FMAudit products will attempt to extract values from multiple locations stored within the device. In the case no value is available in one location, the engine will continue to search the remaining locations in order of probability until a value is found, or there are no more locations to search. Inference engine options will attempt to infer missing values when it can be calculated from other available values, i.e. page counts.

Some of the fields available include:

Column Header Name	Field Description
IP Address	Network IP address of Print, Copier or MFP device
Local Index	Index number of the local workstation's printer(s), i.e. printer1=index0, printer2=index1, and so on...
MAC Address	Short for Media Access Control, the MAC is the hardware address that uniquely identifies each node of a network.
Manufacturer	Major manufacturer name displayed on device. Original equipment manufacturer (OEM) name is generally replaced on rebranded models.
Model	Model name displayed on device. Original equipment manufacturer (OEM) model name is generally replaced on rebranded models.
Serial Number	Read-only Serial Number contained within devices MIB, matching Serial Number displayed on the outside of device.
Description	Optional Read-Write "Description" field that is user defined and saved within the devices MIB.
Location	Optional Read-Write "Location" field that is user defined and saved within the devices MIB.
Asset Number	Optional Read-Write "Asset Number" field that is user defined and saved within the devices MIB. This is primarily contained within HP devices, and is generally used to store Equipment ID Numbers.
Total Pages	Total physical pages output from device, via print, copy, fax or list.
Mono Pages	Total physical monochrome pages output from device, via print, copy, fax or list.
Color Pages	Total physical color pages output from device, via print, copy, fax or list.
Printer Pages	Total output of network printed pages. Included in Total Pages value.
Fax Pages	Total output of faxed pages. Included in Total Pages value.
Copy Pages	Total output of copied pages. Included in Total Pages value.
List Pages	Total output of configuration and/or meter result pages.
Total Scans	Total number of pages that were scanned, via copy, fax, net or email.
Fax Scans	Total number of pages that were scanned to fax. Included in Total Scans value.
Copy Scans	Total number of pages that were scanned to copy. Included in Total Scans value.
Net Scans	Total number of pages scanned and saved to a network computer. Included in Total Scans value.
E-mail Scans	Total number of pages that were scanned to e-mail. Included in Total Scans value.
Cov. sum Black	Used to calculate results for the average percentage of "Black" toner coverage used during the selected audit Start and End dates.
Cov. sum Cyan	Used to calculate results for the average percentage of "Cyan" toner coverage used during the selected audit Start and End dates.
Cov. sum Magenta	Used to calculate results for the average percentage of "Magenta" toner coverage used during the selected audit Start and End dates.
Cov. sum Yellow	Used to calculate results for the average percentage of "Yellow" toner coverage used during the selected audit Start and End dates.
Cov. sq. sum Black	Used to further analyze the "Black Toner Coverage; Average Sum" value. Determines if the average toner percentage used during the selected audit Start and End dates was fairly consistent, or if a number of pages contained a significant increase in black toner coverage, therefore increasing the average coverage value for all pages.
Cov. sq. sum Cyan	Used to further analyze the "Cyan Toner Coverage; Average Sum" value. Determines if the average toner percentage used during the selected audit Start and End dates was fairly consistent, or if a number of pages contained a significant increase in black toner coverage, therefore increasing the average coverage value for all pages.
Cov. sq. sum Magenta	Used to further analyze the "Magenta Toner Coverage; Average Sum" value. Determines if the average toner percentage used during the selected audit Start and End dates was fairly consistent, or if a number of pages contained a significant increase in black toner coverage, therefore increasing the average coverage value for all pages.
Cov. sq. sum Yellow	Used to further analyze the "Yellow Toner Coverage; Average Sum" value. Determines if the average toner percentage used during the selected audit Start and End dates was fairly consistent, or if a number of pages contained a significant increase in black toner coverage, therefore increasing the average coverage value for all pages.
